Q: What hardware and software do I need to run QuickProofs 2™?

A: QuickProofs 2™ is compatible with both Macintosh and Windows computers and Photoshop CS1, CS2 and CS3 (CS4 compatibility coming soon). If you can run Photoshop, you can run QuickProofs 2™.

Q: How long does it take to get QuickProofs 2™ up and running?

A: Once you click the Installer, you will need to add your logo, choose your preferences and setup your printer. The video tutorials will walk you through these one-time steps. In just minutes, you will be creating your first QuickProofs 2™ pages, and your workflow will never be the same!

Q: I’d like 4-up images for my seniors, but 2-up pages would be better for my families, and I need to have 9-up photos for my weddings. Can I do all this, and how easy is it to change sizes?

A: Yes, you can select between 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 images per page with a simple click in the Preferences box (see photo).

Q: Can my lab to print photo pages of my QuickProofs 2™ files?

A: Yes! Your pages can be saved to a folder of your choice instead of sent to the printer, so you can upload them directly to your lab. You can make either 8x10 or 8.5 x 11 page sizes. Nothing could be easier!

Q: Will QuickProofs 2™ work with Photoshop Elements?

A: No. Photoshop CS1, CS2 and CS3 (CS4 compatibility coming soon) is required to run Quickproofs 2™.

Q: How do I present my QuickProofs 2™ pages to my clients?

A: John uses an inexpensive binder that punches and binds the pages, which are then inserted into a handsome reusable portfolio. Click here to see how he does it.

Q: Could I post my QuickProofs 2™ pages on-line for client viewing?

A: Yes. The output resolution of your QuickProofs 2™ pages is user-adjustable in the Preferences, so by setting it to 72 ppi the resulting pages could be easily posted to your on-line viewing gallery.

Q: Can I sell QuickProofs 2™ pages to my clients?

A: Sure! You have the option of building pages that do not contain the copyright symbol, file name or ordering information on them. Uploaded to a lab or inkjet printed, these QuickProofs pages could easily be added to your product line and sold in either bound booklet form or in a photo album.

Q: How many computers can I install QuickProofs 2™ on?

A: Just as Adobe does with its products, your license allows you to install the software on two computers. You can run QuickProofs 2™ on either computer, but not at the same time. If two or more users will be running QuickProofs 2™ on different machines at the same time, you will need to purchase an additional license.
